BIG AIR TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM 'DON'T CARE'
This one's been a long time coming for us at Forged Artifacts, as we've been huge fans of Big Air ever since we got our collective faces torn off by their self-released Buds EP early last year. Big Air began in 2013 in the rural hills of Virginia where lead songwriter Rob Dobson crafted his own brand of upbeat, riff-heavy fuzz pop. Following the release of their debut, Dobson relocated to Los Angeles and began work on material that would become Big Air's first full-length. Recorded to tape in his bungalow in Echo Park, Don't Care builds on the kinetic energy of Buds, while adding denser arrangements, headier atmosphere, and a broader palette of tones. We are very excited to announce we will be releasing Don't Care digitally and on limited edition chrome tapes on September 18. Stream the first single - "Stay the Night" - over on Stereogum.
